PROJECT PARTICIPANTSCoralville's Brownfield assessment program is dependent on a joint effort between a variety of stake holders. The list below provides information on a few of the key stake holders. The relationship between each individual stakeholder and the City is unique, but when everything is brought together there exists a cooperative agreement between all to meet the needs of the entire Coralville community. In order for the redevelopment and revitalization of Coralville's Brownfield zones to be successful and sustainable, there must be involvement and buy in from a variety of levels within both the public and private sectors. Any actions taken within the Brownfield assessment program must consider the economic, environmental and social impacts of such actions on Coralville and the surrounding area. This is why a very diverse group of stakeholders is so important. Coralville's Brownfield program seeks to continuously integrate the efforts of the City with numerous private and public sectors of the Coralville community, local businesses, the State of Iowa, the Environmental Protection Agency and any other interested stakeholders. Public or private groups who have been unknowingly omitted are encouraged to contact the City of Coralville Brownfields Coordinator to be included.
